Congratulations on purchasing your SleepGuard biofeedback headband. Depending on the time of day you placed your order, your order will typically ship the same day or the next business day. We ship from Massachusetts, so depending on where you live and what shipping method you chose, you will likely receive your unit within two to eight days.
We encourage you to read the manual thoroughly before beginning the process of using your SleepGuard headband to reduce or eliminate your clenching and grinding.
We also encourage you to read the supplement to the manual which you will receive by e-mail. When you read the manual, you will learn:
1) Proper daytime training (a few minutes per day of very specifically structured daytime practice is key to establishing and strengthening the part of your subconscious that will respond reliably and instinctively to the biofeedback in your sleep).
2) How to make sure the sensor pads of the headband connect reliably to your head (because if they don’t, you may get annoying “false beeps” when you roll or move around in bed).
3) How and why you should measure your baseline clenching and grinding with the biofeedback turned off for several nights before wearing the unit at night with the biofeedback turned on.
